Douglas Hayne, President/Founder
As founder of HayneCo in 1984, Doug serviced major theater clients as a one person operation handling design, fabrication and installation. His outstanding reputation for his exceptional customer service and product prompted a corporate expansion in 1998. Before working with the theatre exhibition industry, Doug honed his design and construction talent by building high-end residential homes and light commercial projects in Los Angeles with his architect brother. However, Colorado has been home for over 40 years, and he takes advantage of all that the great outdoors of the area has to offer – climbing “fourteeners”, mountain and road biking, and skiing. Doug attempts to maintain the level of fitness that allowed him to finish at or near the top of his age group in the Leadville 100 and other endurance mountain bike races.
Jonathan Kahn, CEO
Jonathan has over 30 years of hands-on experience in the theater industry both as an owner of an independent theater chain, Vice President of Trans-Lux Corporation’s theater division, and now as CEO of HayneCo. These combined experiences give him a unique perspective in helping exhibitors problem solve concession issues and in understanding and appreciating the individual goals and requirements of each respective client. When he’s not working to put two children through college, he can be found behind a camera lens developing his life-long passion of photography, enjoying live music, or growing heirloom tomatoes in his garden.
Michael Garfield, COO
Mike has also been in the theater industry for over 30 years working with both the Carmike and Mann Theater organizations at all levels from a District Operations Manager to a Construction Manager. His background encompasses a wide range of construction experience in the residential and light commercial markets. In his free time, Mike enjoys golfing with friends, cooking his signature culinary delights, and spending time with his ten grandchildren.
